Evaluate
We will look for: sink holes, trip hazards, shifted pavers, bricks and/or stones. We will check for the proper height of any steps. Then we will come up with a plan
Schedule
We will schedule a date (weather pending). Weather is a big factor in our work and we ask our customers to be flexible and understanding. A deposit is required at the time of scheduling.
Clean
The area will be cleaned as necessary. This may be with a broom, or may require a high pressure surface cleaner attached to a pressure washer. In some cases, each brick is scraped and cleaned by hand.

Repair
A very important step in the repair or restoration of pavers, bricks and/or stones is the base on which they are laid. In some cases, it is necessary to lift the entire hardscape out, replace and level the base material, add additional new material, then compact it before the hardscape can be returned.
Reset
We will reset the pavers, bricks and/or stones to the corrected elevation. This will alleviate any drainage issues as well as eliminate any trip hazards. We will do a careful inspection to be sure we have addressed all issues.
Re-Sand
Once all the cleaning, repairs and pavers/bricks and/or stones have been reinstalled, the last step is too fill in the spaces with polymeric sand, mason sand or stone dust. This keeps them from shifting and can also help to prevent weeds from growing in the joints..
We are not afraid of puzzles.
We are not afraid of puzzles.
For most jobs, we take "before" pictures of the area before we even touch the bricks/paver or stones. This helps us put the exact piece right back where it came from. This reduces the need to find similar pavers/bricks or stones which would need to be cut to fit. This sometimes is unavoidable.
